Bean & Corn Chilli Balls

Take this list with you to any of our 8 supermarkets:

    can Carrefour Chick Peas
  • 1
    can Carrefour Butter Beans
  • ½
    can Carrefour Sweet Corn
  • ½
    can Carrefour Red kidney beans
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Carrefour Parsley
  • 1 Teaspoon
  • 1 Teaspoon
    Ground Pepper
  • 1
  • 1
    whole small fresh chilli
  • Sweet chilli sauce
  • Sesame seeds


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.

  2. Place the chick peas, beans, sweet corn, chilli and parsley in a bowl and blend into a paste until no whole beans remain.

  3. Add the salt, pepper and egg to the mixture and mix well.

  4. Mix the breadcrumbs and some olive oil in a small bowl until the breadcrumbs are coated with oil.

  5. Divide the mixture into balls, and lightly press each bean ball into the breadcrumb mixture, turning to coat. Place on the prepared baking sheet.

  6. Bake these balls for around 20 minutes or until the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

  7. Drizzle each of the balls with sweet chilli sauce, garnish with sesame seeds and serve warm.
