Fried Mozzarella Balls Bites

Take this list with you to any of our 8 supermarkets:
  • 1
    Carrefour mini mozzarella balls (150gr)
  • 1 Cup
    All-Purpose Flour
  • 2
    Eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Fresh Flat-leaf Parsley, chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon
    Lemon Zest
  • Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes
  • Kosher salt and freshly grounded pepper


  1. Preheat a deep fryer or oven. Drain the mozzarella balls and pat dry.

  2. In separate deep dishes, add the flour, the beaten eggs, and another one with the breadcrumbs, parsley, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper together.

  3. Drop the mozzarella balls one by one through the flour, then the egg, and breadcrumbs mixture.

  4. Place in the freezer for 10 minutes then fry in batches in the hot oil until golden and crispy, about 1 minute per batch. Drain on paper towels, season with salt and serve with your favourite condiment.
