Customers shopping at one of the 8 supermarkets retailing Carrefour Products in Malta were enticed to take Shelfies (a selfie in front of a Carrefour products shelf) and upload these to social media, to enter with a chance of winning a €200 shopping spree each week.
The participating supermarkets included Trolees Supermarket (Qawra), GS superstore (Naxxar), Shopwise Discount Store (Qormi), Shoppers Discount Supermarket (Mellieha), Lasco Supermarket (Zejtun), Tower Supermarket (Sliema) and Park Towers Supermarkets (Sta. Venera and St. Julian’s).
A whopping total of 80 shelfies were submitted in the competition and eight winners were announced each week, selected through a Facebook contest.
The 7th prize of the competition, a €200 voucher, was donated to the Ursuline Children’s Crèche in Tarxien.
